I have been thinking a lot about how I can incorporate technology in my classroom more than I do now. Some of the points that were brought up by Will Richardson, our guest speaker for EC&I 831 class, helped me to think beyond the thought of classroom blogging as the only way I can incorporate more technology in my classroom. Using Personal Learning Networks is something that I would like to explore more with my students. Will Richardson offers more insight into PLN’s at : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mghGV37TeK8.
One point Mr. Richardson made in the class is that we need to make new connections a new way of learning. This is something that being in this EC&I class has helped me to do. I have been trying so many different things and exploring the web whereas before I used to check my e-mail and Facebook. I have made so many new connections now and as a teacher it is so nice to interact with so many people in so many different places. I am finding my global way of learning. Til next time…

I agree that this class has also helped me use the web in a new way. I used to go to two sites – Facebook and Hotmail- but now there are so many more websites I have explored and on-line programs that I can operate.
